The Open command lets you open a document saved on a disk. The document is displayed in its own window, with the file name given in a tab.
In the File menu, click
on Open.
or
In the Standard toolbar, click
on Open.
You can also use a shortcut, by pressing CTRL + O (See the List of
Shortcut Keys). Click on the arrow displayed to select from among the
last files on which you worked.
The File Manager window is displayed. By default, AceHTML displays
the File Manager, which contains
the defined FTP servers. By launching the Desktop tree, you can search
for a file on your hard drive.
Select the file you want to open:
In the zone Look in: select the desired browser: the Windows desktop or File Manager.
In the browse field, find the proper directory.
In the File type zone: select the type of file you want. Click on the arrow to access the list of available file formats.
In the File name zone: type in or select the file you want.
A series of options let you manage files within AceHTML.
Click on Open.
You can also open a document from Windows Explorer. To do so, select the document in the File Manager window and drag it to the AceHTML Editor window or the AceHTML icon on the taskbar.
You can also open a document directly from a Web site.
